Do We Really Need To Have Animal Testing?

Posted by admin | Animation | Saturday 28 August 2010 10:50 am

Do we really need to have animal testing?
Is it really necessary that we have animal testing to make our lives better? When do we say no? Is there a difference between testing on mice and testing on dogs or monkey’s? Can’t we live happily without these tests?
Is it Ever Acceptable?
Animal testing is always a touchy subject. I generally find myself on the wrong end of both sides of the argument as I disagree with animal testing on what I consider non-vital experiments like make-up products and cosmetic medicines (medicines for symptoms that are not critical or dangerous). But when it comes to life saving drugs, I believe they must be tested before being introduced into the open market. The thought of an AIDS cure that has not been tested is a scary prospect, is it could lead to a cure causing unexpected complications and leaving the patient in a worse condition than before the treatment.
The Reason behind Animal Testing
Animal testing is done for the development of effective and safe drugs for mankind. Animal research in fact plays a vital role in virtually every major medical research and development process. The reason behind animal testing stems from the fact that this type of research offers valuable insights into the working of the human systems. Moreover health agencies and medical societies around the world recognize the need for animal testing. Tests are carried out on animals carrying a particular disease as part of the animal testing process. There are also instances when animals are created with certain types of disorders in order to test certain type of drugs too.
Everyone has it’s own life
Life is equal whatever who it is. Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, sheep, even ants have their own life. As long as they have their consciousness, they should be respected totally, especially the animals who can communicate with human like dogs, monkeys and so on.
However, in the Medical research institutions, someone take animals testing to prove how effective about some new medicine. The mousses and rabbits are often the victims. Who can consider their feelings? All about these is so horrible.
There are many ways to improve the development of medical. Did it must take some innocent life away? Is it fair for them? Why human must so selfish to get the advantage from other lives? We are all members of the nature. Let’s learn to respect the other animals who living with us together on the earth.

Animals As Pets – A Healthy Choice

Posted by admin | Animation | Wednesday 25 August 2010 10:43 am

Animals as pets, seems a silly notion to me. The only animals I’ve really kept as pets would be fish. And many animal lovers who have pets, would probably disagree with me as to the classification of fish as pets. Whatever. While I enjoy other peoples animal pets, I’m sure none of them would classify me as an animal lover. A recent turn of events may however have a long term effect on my relationship with animals. Having recently caved to our children’s long term lobbying efforts to have a family dog as a pet, it appears that I will be sharing my home with an animal of the non-aquatic variety very soon.

Stress Out The Dogs

The thought of sharing my domicile with an animal has me a little stressed out. However, that should be short lived, as according to many experts living with an animal is supposed to help relieve stress in humans. Not exactly sure why that is. Perhaps having a creature you can speak your mind to, that has no recourse but to agree with you? Sometimes us human animals just need someone to listen, and agree with everything we say. Maybe the constant reminder of an animal who has no control over what they eat, where they sleep, how they play, and what goofy clothes they wear, makes people realize that maybe things aren’t so bad for them. Could be worse, you could be a dog.

How to Learn Self Hypnosis, and Change your Life

Posted by admin | Animation | Sunday 22 August 2010 10:42 am

You have probably already heard of hypnosis. Usually hypnosis is associated with a magician who makes people act like animals or make them do things they wouldn’t do normally. Another common type of hypnosis you might have heard of is in the form of treatment, like hypnosis to stop smoking etc…But Hypnosis is much more than that. Hypnosis is a very powerful technique, understanding it can lead you to the desire to learn self hypnosis to change your own life.

Steps to Learn Self Hypnosis

Probably the first step in learning self hypnosis would be to better understand the origin of this whole process, how it began. If you look at the animal world there have always been animals that truly hypnotise their prey. The Cobra is probably to most well known animal to use this technique. Many stories of the century’s talks about the ability of a “trans like” state where a person’s inner self can be reached. This whole process has been used to influence and create positive change in people’s lives. To learn self hypnosis is the ability to change your life and take control.

Teaching your Child Kindness Towards Animals

Surely children and pets go together like .. well, jelly and peanut butter, a horse and cart, strawberries and cream? ….. but that’s not always the case. When children and pets are with each other you might be led to believe that whilst your kids aren’t made of snips and snails, they have been created to pull puppy dogs tails. And to tease sleeping cats, chase flocks of pigeons away from the crumbs someone’s scattered for them and squash stranded worms on the pavement.

Regrettably young children and pets don’t naturally interact well, toddlers often see animals, like other objects in the house, as toys to be manipulated for their own entertainment. The long ears, tails, fur, feathers or other interesting features make yanking, tugging, squeezing, squashing and chasing them even more enjoyable.

But because toddlers see this kind of behaviour as fun, that most certainly doesn’t mean that it’s acceptable. After all you want your children and pets to get along together so you’re going to have to teach your toddler respect for animals. Not teaching them to be kind to their pets can have a negative effect on both the children and pets – many creatures have no defence against curious toddlers or alternatively an animal who can defend itself may do so. Try the following to begin to teach your child empathy with and respect for animals:
